Some important guidelines I have found over the years that can be applied to pretty much every situation when teaching spelling, penmanship or creative writing. You’ve got to know the school grade level that the student is learning on. Spelling levels also show reading levels so the lessons have to be structured where the student is above a 75 percent score on the test. An easy pretest can offer you the level to start with in the lessons.
